Looked at a bunch of spots in Belltown/Downtown Seattle and liked Viktoria and Tower 12 near the Pike Place Market. Any thoughts on these apartments? Is it a good/safe neighbourhood during the day and the night time?
What kind of rents u getting right now ?
Give more context. Are you married with 3 kids or a single tinder addict? Cap hill is where the nightlife is and where your chances for getting laid are quintupled.
Someone talk more about West Seattle. Why is it hot right now? This is the 4th mention I’ve heard of it for newbies moving in
It's an up and coming area with less traffic and lower prices because it's still a bit seedy in places, so it's a good place to buy and wait for it to get better. The commute also isn't >1 hour like places further out in the same price range. Also Alki beach 😆.
Don’t live downtown proper such as near Pike Place. If you want to be near the city, choose Belltown or Cap Hill.
Ballard is pretty nice too.
Try Tuscany apartments in First Hill. Close enough to pike place market.
Go up north and west a couple more blocks. Tons of apartments in Belltown just another 5 min walk away. Don’t live near Pike Place. It’s too touristy and annoying. The market itself is also a ripoff as well, more expensive than Whole Foods. $8.99/pound for grapes. Da fuck?
.
Didn’t know that!
Move to SLU. More sophisticated, close to everything and no bums.

Pike Place Market. Worse than a tourist
Corrected. :) not from Seattle...
Why looking in the heart of downtown? Try branching out to Queen Anne, Belltown, or Capitol Hill
