App Sec Engineer - G, FB, Snap Interview process
Looking for some pointers and tips on interview process at G, Fb, and Snap. What’s the level of leet code? Medium or hard? What other things would you add to clear initial rounds of interview (like secure design etc)? Thanks in advance. #cybersecurity #interview #security Tc: 240k
Leetcode easy (maybe medium). General all around security domains. Can be AppSec, systems, network but nothing too crazy. Demonstrate being able dive deep into a few areas though.
For which company do they ask easy? I heard fb always asks medium
general scripting ability as well. there can be scenarios around parsing log file data. Offensive security / red team type knowledge
Most interviews I've attended in my career (almost all came back with offers) did not have a coding round at all. Amazon had a very bare minimal coding round that didn't ask for a full working script but a couple loops and functions, syntax etc. Mostly they just asked me "what does this line of code do"?
What else do they check for?
