How much of your household take-home pay goes to the mortgage?
I graduated from university a year ago and thankfully I landed a job at ibm as a software developer. I started exploring new opportunities a few days ago and was reached out to for a potential Apple Build Engineer interview. What does a Build Engineer at Apple do? If I were to potentially land it, would going this direction be the best for career growth? TC: 112k #apple
Is ibm remote?
Yeah, I usually finish my tasks in a few hours and have rest of week to work/learn other things
dont join just because its apple
Yeah, was just wondering what exactly one did in that role. It would probably double my tc tho right?
Hello did you have the interview? Mind sharing your experience?
Interested as well. Do you mind sharing your experience
You'll be working with cicd to build code into binaries, OS images, and etc. Not a great career path if you want write code
Feel like domain knowledge is harder to get , too many tutorials on crud and not a lot on build when it's critical to big companies
At my current position, I hardly write code. Maybe a few scripts here and there and that mostly me automating a few things.
