Can anyone on the SRE team for ACS describe what work life is like? Is the stack interesting to work on, full of tech debt, people respect the team, etc? TIA
Hi OP may i know how was interview and any lights on questions asked for sre interviews
To be honest there were a lot of questions about my past work and how I would respond to different situations. Besides that there were 2 leetcode questions and a debugging/troubleshooting question
Any updates on your results?
In waiting on a written offer letter still
Hey OP, were you asked any networking or Linux internal questions? Also, was it leetcode medium? Got an on-site this week, thanks!
No networking. Some systems stuff but I can't remember exactly anymore, not really in depth though. Leetcode medium for sure
Thanks!
Calling it a stack is laughable. The “stack” is something that would be appropriate for a significantly smaller system. Really no vision there to improve it. It is a bit impressive though on how much it does with so little. The SRE teams are definitely treated well. Not sure how much of that though is because they’re the ones that go oncall.
