Got an offer at Apple Content and Services (iTunes/Apple Music/Apple TV+/etc). Really interested in the industry but worried that the recession may cause Apple to cut down investment in their service department, especially Apple TV+ due to the fierce competition in streaming services right now. Any thoughts/insight on Apple’s service deprtment’s future outlook? Non-Tech YOE: 7 years TC: 140K (non-US office)
I think apple has a better future at content and services than most others. Their subscriptions are affordable, especially their bundles. Apple TV+ has some really good shows and movies and they’re picking up speed on more and more new releases. And once again, Apple TV+ is way more affordable than most other streaming services. Plus, they just locked down a huge deal with MLS. I think they have a good future.
Thanks! Yeah price is reasonable but they also have fewer shows than other so I was worried that retention would be an issue. It feels like they Apple One bundle would be key for people to keep renewing the service.
How wa the interview? Is it under AMP?
