I am leaning toward yes, but I feel like this is going to be gen1 Apple Watch all over again. That felt like an mvp where they asked developers what the watch should do, and it didn’t have all the right hardware for what they eventually figured out it could be great at. I feel like camera will be essential, and they’ll quickly add it back in to gen2, once it’s cemented into the market, and I’ll be stuck with POS gen1 glasses.
My team said the exact same stuff about Hololens when that came out.
I’m gonna wait for Apple Lasik.

AR technology was very different back then. Also, this one doesn’t make you look like cyborg. More user friendly and price is fair.
I will agree Apple will probably do a better implementation. Cost was a huge factor back then, no one wanted to spend $1500. They probably won't today either. $500 is an easier pill to swallow.
