Very low. Apple loves to low ball. I feel recruiters get psychotic pleasure out of this. Just dont accept any rsu below 400k
This is ops, not HW or SWE. But still, for ict5 it does seem a little low. Probably can go higher on TC by ~20%. Sign on is sweet, that might be reason they're screwing you on the rsu
What would be an average RSU for DFM engineer ICT5? I got them up from $160k. But even at 250K the RSUs right would be half of even SpaceX. Verbally told them the offer looked ok but having serious doubts now.
For someone that's been here 4yrs, their unvested rsu is in the range of 500-1M.. Depends on when they joined (appreciation), how well they're performing and team budget. Apple always seems to start new people under the 4yr rolling target I've noticed bc they know they can then keep them happy in future years with generous refreshers
