I just got an interview with one of the managers at Apple, I’m unsure how to say that, but I will go with it. He was based in India, and this is his Mallikarjun, Anyway, I’m so disappointed in Apple’s HR and hiring processes. That was the most unethical interview I have ever experienced in my entire career. Apple really needs to get better employees with better ethics in the interview process. Note: I worked at Apple before and was So excited to get another opportunity to interview and maybe get a job there again. He sends me the meeting link from nowhere, not even one email before that to ask me about availability or anything like that! He did not introduce himself or what department he was from! He didn’t say which position we were interviewing for but figured out from the questions he asked me (I was confused because the meeting did not have any title just the WebEx meeting link and his Apple email) He joined the meeting 7 min late! He did not explain or apologize for anything! He asked me to shear my video, but he didn’t! He was so rude in the way he was talking to me! Even when we ended the meeting, he didn’t even say bye! I don’t know if there is a way to report it to HR, tell them by experience, or give them feedback?? I would love to get feedback from you guys also. Am I the only one who went through that, or there’s someone got a similar experience. #tech #apple #HR # interviewingprocess #engineer #sde #IAM
I think the interviewer has fake LinkedIn profile. Apple interviews are initiated with HR. No apple email was the first sign. The interviewer was just messing with you.
It was an apple email, but I don't know; he just sent me the meeting invite with the WebEx meeting link from nowhere.
Since you have his email to begin with, start by providing feedback.
Do you or anyone else know if there is an Apple email I could send an email to about this whole thing?
