Apple ICT3 Offer
Current TC: 185k Hi guys, Got a verbal - moving on to offer stage from Apple Cupertino. 1. I thought I was interviewing for ICT4 but got ICT3. Can I reinterview and try for ICT4? 2. I had total of 3 rounds of interviews, 1st and 2nd round went exceptionally well. Not sure about 3rd.. but did get an offer. Can I leverage this? 3. The recruiter wouldn't give me a rough number for TC and not sure how to break this. Ultimately I want 180/250/50 for TC. Is this possible with ICT3? (Number based on various blind posts) It's for QA position, and YOE is 7.5 years #tech #offer
No, that’s a ICT4 offer. You cannot change your level after getting an offer. That time has passed and had to be done before doing any interviews
If this was swe, I would have said ask for more interviews (design) and you could get ICT4. But I don't know how it works for QA position. No clue for the TC either.
Waaay to good ict3 offer. I’d say top of the line.. My ict4 2 years ago was - 180/280/50 for swe coming from another fang.
It feels like apple offers are all over the place :( unlike fb or google
It really depends on the role, team, and org. So hard to say.
I got ICT3 160/225/60 back in June Wish I had negotiated the base a bit more

Any update for this? 180/250/50 is for ict4 level. You won't get it for ict3 at apple.
That’s definitely on the higher end for ICT3, ICT4 for 180k salary is much more achievable. Would maintain confidence in your worth and ask to be leveled at ICT4 even if it requires more interviews.
I told the recruiter I thought I was getting interviewed for ICT4 then he came back and said with my YOE that wouldn't be possible because that's usually for 15+ YOE (which I didn't was true based on levels.fyi)
So not sure if I can ask for this.. although that would be nice if I can get that ICT4 bump
