ICT3, Sensing & Connectivity team, Bay Area Base -- $170k Initial RSU grant-- $105k vesting over 4 years Sign-on -- $10k First year TC = $206k Current TC = $201k Years of exp: 6 How do the RSU grants work at Apple? Are the stock refreshers annual? If so, is there an expected range or %? #apple #offer #negotiateoffer
Did you have competing offers? If not, this looks reasonable since it beats your current TC. This is what the recruiter will also be thinking. Also with Apple, once you accept the verbal offer, they will never let you negotiate. You have to negotiate upfront before the recruiter starts working on the written offer letter.
Low ball for sure. This is what I got in a non Bay Area site with 4 yoe in 2018 and it was considered Okayish even back then
Some new grads with 0 yoe get hired at ICT3. This is a standard offer from what I know. Try pushing for ICT4.
I was trying to push for that but doesn’t look like they’ll budge on the leveling, even though they claims it’s “higher level of ICT3”.
Decent base for ICT3, but RSU Looks lower.
If you negotiate too hard, they might move to next strong candidate since too many options in today’s market
Apple 105k RSUs for HW role for IC3 hasn't changed in a long time. I had a similar offer for Austin about 4 years ago - with this pace, Apple is probably among the lowest paying HW company
Rsu is for 4 years? Looks low
This is a verbal offer. The recruiter mentioned this is initial grant with a 4 year vesting schedule. Is that usual?
Is it 400k over 4 years or 100k over 4 years?
