Apple Internal Transfer
I have a friend who is in Apple IS&T and absolutely hates his job and is borderline depression. He was looking to quit and be unemployed. He has been in Apple IS&T for a year now. But, instead he wants to know if there is a way to transfer to a different team in Apple. How difficult is that ? Do you need to reinterview? etc... ? Apple or ex-Apple folks please chime in. Sounds like Google's EngProd or SETI. Bad stuff.
It is a pain to transfer from IS&T to any other group. Other groups, for right/wrong reason, treats IS&T folks like sh*t and second class. But it can be done if one has good network in other groups.
How Apple transfer done between groups ? Is it easier for someone not in IS&T ?
