Apple L5 product manager vs Amazon L7 Sr Manager Product Management
Between Apple L5 IC Product Manager and Amazon L7 Sr manager product management which one I should pick? Currently L6 PgM in Google.

How the heck a program manager at google gets into product at Amazon and managing product managers? Your HM should be useless for sure :). could you pm me his name ( ill ensure ill avoid him and your team as well if you end up in Amazon).
How does this answer my question? I am on wrong ladder in Google. I was a product manager for 15+ years before joining Google.

Different companies have different levelling.
Except l5 is the median level for most companies and definitely not going to equate to a principal pm at Amazon!!
Are you in Google Global Business Operation side/org? If so, leaving Google is the right thing. Go for Amazon, Amazon L7 can get you closer to where you want career wise. Which org in Amazon? L7 can move to be sr. eng manager or up to Director. your team will envision products and roadmaps. You will thank me for this.
Amazon; then work up to L8 (director) and your stocks vest quarterly instead of yearly.
