Is apples return to office is also for contractors ? My vendor say its not mandatory for the contractors but my manager wants me to start coming to office soon as else, they are going to report my absence in office. #hybrid #hybrid #on-site #returntooffice

Mmm if you’re a 1099 contractor they can’t dictate things like that. Otherwise they get into the qualifications for being an employer / w2. I might be wrong but from what I know seems possible
I am a W-2, I didnt get what you are saying about w2.
The contracting company is your employer not apple. If apple starts dictating where you work, they can be legally classified as your employer. This causes employment issues
You can’t do anything I know your vendor. Just get back or no renewal or sent back
My friend is also a contractor and she was asked to come to office too.
