Current TC: 200k, L63, Redmond YOE: 5 What TC should I ask for given California has higher state tax? Is apple flexible with location and internal transfer? I prefer Austin over San Diego or Cupertino. Current Take home pay is good due to $0 state tax and lower rent.
6 YoE for L63 in HW is pretty good. Internal promos or external hire? As for location, your recruiter should have been up front about the options. I know when I was interviewing with apple one of the first things my recruiter informed me of was the available sites for the role.
Do you know if apple is flexible with internal transfer after working 1 or 2 years, If I need to move to Austin from Cupertino team?
With top of the line ICT3 offer you can expect 250-300K in San Diego and that would be stretch. I doubt they’ll offer ICT4 at your exp level.
Isn't L63 equal to entry level ICT4? I will take 250k+ if they can offer.
