I was reached out to for a contract position at Apple. I wasn’t even aware they did that. Either way the pay is too low. What’s the likelihood of full time employment from them after the contract? #apple #contractor
Contract to fulltime will be a low ball in terms of pay and level from my experience
What is YOE? And current TC?

Full time in MSFT? Did you got a third party offer for Apple job?
Contract to fte pitch is always a 🥕 dangling in front of you. Wouldn’t suggest go from fte to contract in this type of environment
Hourly pay is shit. Even their FTEs are treated like shit. And 99% you won’t get converted unless you’re some rockstar engineer, in which case you should be able to get a full time job somewhere else. (From a personal experience contracting at these companies).
Thanks for the perspective
Yoe?
Contract to FTE is 0% unless the team is growing
I turned them down. Thanks for the inputs all. If you’re happy at Apple, your team is hiring, and you can spare a referral, let me know
I know a colleague hiring at Intuit (frontend). I can refer you if you’re interested
Thanks but I’m not sure that’s a domain I want to go into. Meta cancelled my on site after the freeze was announced :(
none
I am a contractor at apple and the people in my role got converted into permanent FTE after 6 months-1 year maximum
