Have an ICT4 offer at apple and considering joining it. What's the culture like? Is it like amazon and fb with PIP and stress or more like Google? I have high regard for the quality of engineering at Apple, just curious about the overall company culture.

I can cope with big workloads and am willing to put in extra hours for a high stakes project, I just want to avoid unnecessary toxicity and backstabbing culture. At Adobe I was in a team where the manager would constantly throw junior engineers under the bus and screw everyone's performance reviews to hide his own incompetency. That's the kind of culture I am looking to avoid.

There's no real PIP threat unless you completely ignore work, but Wlb and culture entirely depends on the team and org. You can have Wlb that's worse than Amazon or better than google, it's a bit of a lottery. Make sure to chat with the HM and team
