Apple culture after Meta
Hello folks, Curious to hear how your experience at Apple has been after working for Meta. Has it been somewhat seamless or has it been a rocky road adjusting to the culture?

Made the switch but in hardware. Not a fan of the siloed culture. Felt meta is better for career growth bc no one will stop you from working on areas which are a bit outside of your team’s scope. Apple is definitely more organized tho and less games around performance.
I went to silicon and it’s significantly better than Meta. There’s discipline and the benefit of running product lines which makes it less chaotic. So you get to work on something which will be in someone’s hands soon, rather than being a hypothetical exercise to fulfill some directors vision which never becomes a reality
Worked at both! Apple culture sucks. Need to do a lot of ass licking to get good rating. No measure of impact. Impossible to switch teams. No transparency coz of the closed culture. Directors and above are considered as gods
