I got reached out to by a recruiter and then a coordinator, followed by a CC for another recruiter, for a role at Apple. But I noticed something odd, they all use different email formats and that seems suspicious to me. Just want to ensure this isn’t some recruiting scam or waste of my time. The formats are: 1. Firstname_lastname@apple.com 2. Firstinitial_lastname@apple.com 3. Firstnamelastname@apple.com This also has a tag for “recruiting@apple.com” and the first recruiter had two grammar/spelling mistakes in his email. Maybe I’m tripping but I find it hard to believe that a company as large as Apple would be inconsistent like this? Thanks in advance for any clarification
Yeah you’re tripping lol
Too paranoid lol
Tripped up ma G
looks ok to me
When you start, you get a basic email and you’re able to request email aliases to your manager that can change the format of it. There’s no actual format enforced.
What if you’re Tim Apple tho? He has no manager to approve his alias change so he’s cooked
I’ve heard that he can self-approve anything.

It’s fine. There’s no standard email name format.
