Apple employees, how many days after a phone screen, do you give a green light for an on site interview?

I had a phone screen a week ago. The interviewee seemed satisfied and said he would talk to his boss. 5 working days have passed and I have not heard back from Apple. Am I rejected or should I wait more?

If it’s more than a week then time to move on. If it is less, there is still a chance.

The interviewee was satisfied. Why would he tell me he would talk to the boss if he decided to reject me?

Did he explicitly say he will talk to his boss to arrange onsite?

It took 2 weeks after my phone screen for them to get back and say they want to move to next round. Hang in there. They are probably interviewing others. As long as you didn't get rejection email, you are still under consideration is what I think.

Took me 3 weeks to hear back after initial screening but there was a long weekend in the middle so maybe folks were on vacation.
