Engadget: Apple employees launch petition to protest return-to-office plans. https://www.engadget.com/apple-return-to-office-petition-093339546.html #apple
meanwhile at Google....
It's not enforced. Managers don't care. People come in 0-3 days, it's up to them. Most managers hardly come in
Apple didn’t spend 5b for that ring to let employees stay at home lol
I am confused why they dont just quit…That is how you protest this…
Lazy people
They want their cake and to eat it too. If that's the hill they want to die on... more power to 'em. Let's see how it pans out.
Remote work is here to stay.
Why would they be at a disadvantage? I don't see why an IC is required to be in the office when they can do the same job or even better from the comfort of their home. I don't need to spend 10 hours of my week stuck in traffic just to please my manager and see him face to face. I think the decision should be within our hands, some of us enjoy being in the office and that's their choice. Only boomers and management want people back to the office. It's almost 2023 I don't need to be in a cubicle to be productive. Times are changing my friend.
@hNyg33 Compagnies can enforce you to not have multiple jobs. How do you measure productivity?
