Apple folks in the know, is IPhone 8 going to be worthy?

I loved the 5s, but Apple folks, you guys haven't done shit since then. The 6 and 6s feel cheap and have nothing worth upgrading for. The 7 is what the 6 should've been. Using a Galaxy S7 now and I love the hardware (Android - meh, not so much). And the S8 looks like another winner. Samsung has their shit together with the hardware (Note7 battery aside). What's your excuse? Did you hold back all the innovation for the big 10th anniversary 8? Is it going to be finally worth upgrading to? I'm not asking for details - just tell me if it's something you can truly say is going to be an innovative release. I still like iOS better, but fuck me if I'm going to get conned into paying ridiculous prices for shitty, incremental upgrades. Thanks.

You think that an Apple engineer would post something real here and not get hunted down and fired?

Take Phil Schiller's word for it, "Can't innovate anymore, my ass!!!"

I can't wait for the all white Jony Ive video that starts with something like "When art and engineering come together, something truly beautiful can emerge ..."

if you follow apple launches, you know they only update just enough to get you to upgrade, and save the rest for next upgrade. so the next phone still have exactly he iPhone 7 but with an AMOLED screen and display sorry less bezels. tame apple press will of course say it is a worthy upgrade.

I agree the 7 is what the 6 should have been. I got a 6 and HATED it. It stopped recognizing my touch after a few months and got so bad that I couldn't answer calls or type. When I used headphones to answer calls, I couldn't be heard on the other end, even if I took the headphones out (so I know it wasn't a headphone mic problem). I was ecstatic to get the 7, mostly just because the 6 sucked so badly. I tried to get a 5 again but only found a refurbished one on Groupon and it only worked for a few months so lesson learned there. I think the 5 is probably my favorite version...that or the 3, which had an unbreakable screen and fewer technical issues/glitches due to faulty design (like the 6).
