Apple hardware - competing offer discussion
Apple HR mentioned about giving some verbal offer this week. Also got a call from another company about giving offer this week. I have discussed about interviewing with other companies during the interviews at both places. How/when do I initiate discussion about competing offer with HR. Do I wait till I see their initial offers? Will update more once details available. YOE: 9 #hardware #apple #interview #negotiation
I told Apple upfront during interviewing that I was in process with other companies as well. Earlier the better IMO
Thanks, I did mention that during the interviews and now just started calls from HR about giving offer, so want to know when to bring this up again. Whether after I get some initial numbers or just bring it up again right now.

What do you need to know for hardware job for Apple ?
How all are getting interview calls? I am applying each and every job role on apple job portal for many months now. No one is calling me
If profile fits perfectly, they call as soon as 2-3 days after applying. That’s what happened to me and I was surprised.
Job role which they describe on page exactly matching to my skills . I have 15 years experience in Design verification.
Any easy way to reach recruitment team ??

Some recruiters reached out to me in the past through linked in. Maybe 2-3 years ago.
Apple recruiter will ask about the other offer. They will make you a lowball verbal offer first and then say, if you want to go higher, you need to tell us the other offer numbers. Once you tell them, they will match it.
Do they ask to see the actual offer letter? How can they actually verify its not BS?
Ofcourse you need to be produce a proof.
The recruiter will ask, or he will make an initial offer for you to consider. Always be polite even if you disagree, but make it clear that you are willing to say no if they don't beat your competing offer or whatever minimum goal you have.
OP- did you get the offer?
When did you have the virtual onsite with Apple? can I ask the team?
A week ago. Hardware team, can't say much for now.
