Hello guys, I have been laid off from Qcom recently. Interviewed at Apple-San Diego for an Embedded engineer role. Could anyone who has been through the process/has some idea about it let me know how long does it actually take for them to make the decision after the virtual on site round? It has been a couple of weeks and the recruiter is still saying they are collecting feedback. Tc-0 :( #interview #semiconductor #hardware
What's funny is mediatek has his job while Qualcomm got laidoff
Yeah that’s because mtk has 1/3 the headcount and is not bloated like QC , my old org at QC had a VO reporting to a VP and a senior director over 17 people
Could you tell me once you applied for the role , how long did it take for recruiter to reach out ? Also, did you apply for job portal or via referral. For context, Applied for Analyst role at Apple over a week ago but haven't heard back yet from the team.
I applied for a lot of jobs at apple. So I do not remember when exactly when. Might be for around 2 weeks before I got a response.
A friend recently joined Apple as a HW engineer. Offer took 4 months to come. Evey offer needs VP level approval
OMG 4 months!?! Which location is this ?
Cupertino
It's a bad sign if you don't hear back 2 weeks after the onsite.
