Passed first round with hiring manager and have been given 0 guidance on what to expect for the next interview lol. I also don't know anything about the process other than if I pass this round I get an onsite interview (I assume of the normal 3-4 back-to-back interview structure). I was told by the recruiter the HM doesn't like leetcode questions but for fellow mobile engineers out there, that doesn't really narrow down what to study. Looking for any tips from folks who have interviewed at Apple for iOS positions in 2023! TC: $265k #apple #interview #ios
apple interviews are super team dependent. every team sets their own process so there's no consistency. your recruiter will tell you the exact format if you quiz them enough. having said that, once you know the format, there are some iOS from apple who do paid interview coaching on prepfully. They do charge 100-150$ though, so mostly makes sense to use it once you need practice for specific interview types.
How can you find this iOS folks from apple?
I was under the impression that FAANG only asks for LC and System Design before team selection of hired. I am an iOS engineer too.. haven’t interviewed at Apple but have had interviews where I was asked to code in Xcode which was bit uncomfortable for me since I am used to certain Xcode settings.
They can be completely random and vary across sister teams
oof, okay, it's in the ASE org if that helps. Thanks for the info tho!
