Received verbal offer for a role in SEG. Providing as a data point. How much would RSU refresh be? ICT3 Location: San Diego Base: 160k Bonus: 10% Sign-on: 50k RSU: 150k/4yrs TC: ~214k (excluding sign-on) TC: ~264k (first year, including bonus) Competing offer = 270k TC YOE: MS+4 #apple #offer
It’s decent. What’s the breakdown of competing offer? Also you Apple TC is ~220k (excluding signon)
Competing offer is skewed toward base+signon. Base is 180k for competing
Okay. Signon is one time payment and generally not included in the TC I think. If the competing offer base is 180 then I would use that for negotiation. $170k is more doable for SD. Stocks $200k/4.
That TC is amazing holy cow
I updated the TC calculation per @hehehe’s comments. Would you still say 214k TC excluding sign-on is good?
Ah i previously misread it and thought your first year TC was for all 4 years. Which would have been a dream. Still very good nonetheless, it's up there for ict3
The TC looks very good for ICT3. If they are ok to offer you this, ask for ICT4 so you get more RSUs as refresher
I had exactly the same offer when I started straight out of phd school. I’m in Cupertino. That’s a good offer. Take it. Don’t bother asking for ICT4. They won’t give it to you. Btw, I’m pretty sure I know interviewed you 😂
this is a breach of privacy culture at Apple. You just doxxed yourself and your salary to another employee. you are fired!
Says Google who literally harvest all my personal info. Prob you already know both who we are lol
What is the breakdown of the competing offer? It looks really good compared to A.
180k base, target bonus 90k, sign on 90k
Why even consider A when u have this amazing offer…
That's really good for ICT3 in SD. I'm guessing they have bumped your offer up in anticipation of the higher raises employees will get this cycle since you won't be included.
Higher raises this cycle? Is that rumor ?
Take the competing offer. Its much stronger
What is SEG?
Silicon Engineering Group
This is a better offer than i got at 5 YOE in SCV. Is this an RTL role?
Did you make a switch from intel?
No. Why?
