Apple online application - biggest scam
Apple online applications are just scam. Have applied to all relevant roles, not even once you will even get acknowledgement or rejection. My profile is relevant, their recruiters also don’t reply. Any recommendation from current or Ex- Apple employees for how to apply successfully at Apple?
I was approached by apple recruiter on LinkedIn and hired. My prior company provided products/services to the apple org that hired me. I suspect recruiter was given a list of current vendors in good standing and told to target poach hire from those sites. Vendors in this space tend to be smaller and cannot compete on comp so easy to poach from with a tech wage. Specialized field means limited hiring pool.
Yup. Apple’s referral system suck as well. It’s waste of time. I wonder if people get hired in Apple via referral or through the application system.
I am hired through the application system. When I applied my current position - I did not know anyone at apple and just applied that online. It was couple years ago though. I guess personal referral to the HM might be most efficient

Online applicants are screened but do make it through. Sometimes it’s the most direct way to be seen.

If you apply to like 50 you should definitely get some hits from Apple. In my experience Ive had about equal success from recruiter reach out and cold apps from Apple whereas other companies cold apps seem to useless like at meta
Agree. I still dont understand why I dont get call from Apple where other companies are very much interested atleast to start a conversion
I know, I wish I could ever understand how their recruitment works. It’s very annoying.
