What happens when most of your team is Indian?
When did this start happening? https://www.linkedin.com/posts/realrajaryan_resume-activity-7148903386459815937-lcd-?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_ios #apple #tech
Damn, poor Rajesh
its raj
Raj is short for Rajesh?
Raaaajesh
That’s racist
Why? Calling a most common first name from India is racist? Your racist tolerance is so low we may just want to treat you as an animal so you won’t get bothered?
No offer letter = not a rescinded offer
If it’s not in writing you didn’t get an offer
He learned a lesson here although a written offer can also be pulled.
Bro looks like he got 20 years of experience
yeah he looks 40 years old. maybe the hm looked him up on linkedin and thought he was lying about college 💀
So that's the lesson. Until you have a signed offer (and maybe even with one if the economy is looking shaky and your start date is months away), assume you have nothing and keep other opportunities in play. This is particularly true if you need to be sponsored. Life is cruel that way. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
If he’d been a Blind user, he’d know about Apple’s reputation for pulling offers.
Sounds like he never had an offer in writing.
No written offer = no offer was made. Discussing numbers and verbally saying you did well in the interviews does not mean an offer was made. The decision to not hire could have been due to so many reasons - his performance review during the internship, May be his ex apple manager gave bad feedback, may be the role was eliminated etc. People need to understand that the offer is final only when they receive a written letter, instead of blindly throwing tantrums that offer was rescinded.
Looks like the guy already put ex Apple in his LinkedIn headline :)
He interned there so that's not wrong, and he put prev. at Apple so I see no problem with that.
Ah ! That makes sense .
