How easy it is to switch teams at Apple?? Do you have to go through whole interview loop again?? Can manager stop your move?? Thinking of moving from wireless side to Siri/Backend roles.
You have to go through whole loop, inform your manager and share your previous feedback. It’s harder than external process
Its similar to external process but why is it harder than external process?? Cudnt get that
It's harder because you have to tell your manager ahead of time and if you don't get offer it will be super awkward. Even if you do get new offer there is no pay raise despite having to do full gauntlet of interviews.

Pretty much a full loop. There is no general interview loop so you have to reinterview. And you better hope you pass the loop otherwise things look very bad with your current manager. Hope you’re on good terms. When I was there I never once interviewed an internal candidate.
If you’ve been there over a year it should be fine. It’s up to the manager if they make you do the whole loop but I would say more than likely.
