Apple to lose more App Store revenue

Supreme Court decided not to hear the appeal of the Epic v. Apple case, the injunction against Apple's anti-steering rules stands. No more 30% chargebacks. This could cost Apple billions of dollars. I am sad and happy at same time. Bad for me. Good for developers. Hope VisionPro gets some traction. I want my RSUs to be of good value. Pray for me. Edit: Fixed typo TC 300K

I believe apple still collects the 30 percent tax even if txn happens outside

VisionPro has bigger problems than 30% app stores revenue

Meta Cap’nToad Jan 16

Injection? Did you mean injunction?

Apple wise&dumb OP Jan 16

You are right. It’s a typo.

Even high TC employees of Apple are reluctant to buy the Vision Pro. Next we’ll see some random celebs “endorse” them by walking around wearing them.

Like a JOKER. It probably has it own use but not for regular consumers. May be in far future when I want to communicate with someone in diff. Galaxies. 🌌

It would be a nice gadget for regular users if it were priced right. It’s too expensive in this economy as a fancy toy

Intel FatPeter Jan 16

Vision Pro sucks

Apple wise&dumb OP Jan 16

I’m sure you don’t have any justification apart from pricing. There is no product as superior as it. Hands down. Sign up for a demo and see it yourself when it is available.

Meta snnsodnd Jan 16

It's super heavy, I don't think it's the best headset

Apple Jan 16

The fees will just be shifted elsewhere similar to how airlines now charge for every little thing that used to be free.

Did you read the news? Apple won the case, you can’t sideload apps.
