I got an offer from Apple recently, I'm also in the final round of Bloomberg interview. Apple TC: 192K (base 141, RSU 105/4, sign on 25) Bloomberg: ? I personally like to work on things related to distributed system and infrastructure, and I heard Bloomberg has many relevant teams and gives NG flexibility to choose team they like. While my Apple offer is from a product team in SWE that builds some user-end App in Objc, which I have less interest, (but I'm ok working on that). Seems Apple has bigger brand and it's located in Cupertino which has better climate than NYC. But I'm afraid working on user end product for a few years may bring overhead and disadvantage if I later want to switch working on things related to distributed system and infrastructure. Which opportunity do you suggest me to take. Thanks in advance. #tech #apple #bloomberg
Apple, dont come to Bloomberg as a new grad hire
Curious why you say this?

Apple will grow you more. You’ll be given more freedom and higher expectations at Apple. Sky’s the limit. At Bloomberg you’ll be spoon fed for a while and see good growth as a junior but it will fall off.
I’d say start with Apple, get more exposure and leverage location opportunities. Decide the next steps, transition according to your preferences developed in that time.
