Apple vs Meta vs Tiktok vs Uber
Hi all, need help how to negotiate the offers. Aiming for Senior but unfortunately all got SDE II. Tiktok: 220k base+ 195k stock over 4 years Meta: 160k base + 250k stock over 4 years Apple: told me they will match meta, but VP likely not approve. Uber: team matching.... Leaning towards apple but how likely the VP to disapprove? They told me that their budget is like 120k.. LMAO. YOE:5 Current TC: 240k #apple #meta #tiktok #uber
What location? It does seem smart to go with Apple given the state of the economy😅 But Tiktok does seem exciting with it being a growing company and all that. I have no respect for Uber’s business or their work culture.

Cool. I wouldn’t assume Seattle if it’s Microsoft.. also, you’ve got a job at Microsoft and you’ve got atleast 2 other offers. You have ALL THE POWER here. Ask them to match Tiktok and be willing to walk away? Ask nicely though.

I did probably less than 50 this year.... did maybe 200 2 years ago.

TikTok has terrible WLB esp in US offices from what ive heard If you want to work on interesting problems - Uber If you want to learn a ton and have stable RSUs - Apple If VP doesnt approve matching meta's offer they'll likely come close (tell them about tiktok) though not sure if you're ict3 or ict4. ICT3 offers can also vary a lot by org
