I accepted an offer with another startup and unexpectedly, Apple reached out for a final interview after onsites with director, was wondering if it's worth going through Apple Level is most likely going to be ICT3, so average package most likely? San Diego (my rent will be double here) Build Engineer, seems to be more ops like with opportunities for DevOps kind of stuff PTO is not great Hybrid for 3 days, don't mind, but it's not 100% remote Pre-IPO startup 170k base, 200k paper RSUs in 4 years SRE role (I like doing DevOps/infra work with a lot of coding, more autonomy at this place, very experienced lean team with good culture) Series >D with 4-8b valuation, company is profitable 100% remote, I live in MCOL so this is much cheaper for me (I don't have state income tax) PTO is flexible and I can work globally WLB is great at both places Currently doing infrastructure engineering work, a lot of coding, building out our internal dev platform, prefer the SRE work since it's more related to that. Initial plan is to decline Apple and stick it out for a year at the place I accepted and reevaluate. It'd be nice to get a DevOps/SRE job at MANGA in the future. Is my plan dumb? 3 yoe TC - 140k #apple #startup #preipo #devops #sre #build #engineer

With my knowledge of Apple ICT3 bands you’ll probably come out with better TC on Apple if only because you can actually sell the stock.
