Will Facebook take your private messages and past status updates into account while considering your application?
No unless you posted something stupid or wrong.
But how would they know it's stupid or wrong unless they sifted through all my posts?
They have a ml model that they run on candidate's posts.
Only if you like Trump.
@dajiji is bullshitting. Nothing of the sort happens.
Nope. Privacy is actually important concept here.
Loooooooooool you are hilarious
*shrug* or I know how much work/thought/etc goes there. It is very easy to diss it without having built a social product first. Look at G+ shutdown - “uh oh, privacy hard, we will just take the whole product down”. FB has lots of amazing work in the field of privacy frameworks, integrity, etc - it is a hard problem and it is taken seriously. Irish DPA audits happened already ages ago. Sure, there may be an odd product call here and there, but underneath all that there is a solid foundation. (Obligatory TC: a lot)
Ofcourse not !
