I started looking at google interview experiences and tagged questions in leetcode. All I see are extensive mind boggling backtracking dynamic programming questions on graphs. Seriously ? Do they really ask such questions to everybody ? Would like to hear from google interviewers / recent interview experiences please.

High performers, how often do you have slack off days?
We don’t find google questions on leetcode
Go to leetcode, Discuss, select google tag and you can see interview experiences with questions mentioned.
What MSFT meant was Google actively changes questions, so you won't get exact question from LC.
Infact Google interview questions arrive late to leetcode. All my questions were brand new. One question was there on LC discuss, but there wasn't a solution.
I’m sure that all interviewers don’t discuss what they are going to ask(duh!). What if everybody decides to go with LC hard DP question ? That is a possibility right ?
Questions actively get banned. We have a internal portal where people keep on submitting and discussing new questions. So yeah interviewer do discuss questions.
Why do they even ask DP questions? I heard Fb interviewers are specifically asked not to ask DP questions for a reason
Really? FB doesn’t ask DP?
😂
Not all rounds will be difficult but 1 or 2 will have hard questions. I had 2 hard questions in 2 rounds. But it is definitely a different experience than leetcode. Because you solve the question in parts, so you get some clues on how to solve it. But still 30 minutes for a hard is difficult and I ran out of time on one of my rounds and could only explain the final solution to interviewer. I had no DP btw.
Did the result come positive?
Don't know. It was just this week.
What kind of system design questions do they ask?

No dp in fb. Google is just INSANELY hard
Just curious whether the “no dp” apply for a virtual onsite or just phone screen? Couldn’t find any evidence of that on leetcode.
Fwiw last summer I got dp on my internship interview at fb. First round, first question. I was able to bs my way through it but I was caught off guard because I heard dp was banned
I'd bet at least one interviewer will ask insane hard DP, I know the interview questions my co-workers ask, 1 out of 3 of us ask DP.
Why so much emphasis on DP? Is there a specific reason?
My guess would be that it is easier to give you hints with an extremely hard question. it is also easier to show off their prestigiousness with a DP 😂😂 As long as the question is not banned, they'll keep on asking it.
I've done 100+ interviews in Google. Never ask DP questions. And rarely seen that from other interviewers either.
R u at databricks or Google now?
What's wrong with DP? You know one, you know them all.
I personally find Google interviews easier, because you only need to solve one hard problem. I’m not a quick thinker, and it is much more difficult for me to solve two medium questions in 50 mins.
Is it always one problem?
Not always. But I think it's more common.
Yes the questions in lc are quite representative of the real thing. Source: interviewed recently.
It could just have been my loop, but i found the questions during my loop more difficult than what leetcode had suggested as google prep. It was still good prep, but my loop questions were all like the prep questions with an additional twist or data structure thrown in kind of like doing a hard + easy simultaneously. Even if it wasn't too hard of a twist it was still marginally more difficult than my leetcode prep.
+1. Interviewed recently. Mind-numbing backtracking + memoization.
