For example, it says in office in Detroit on the job link. Is it worth asking recruiter if they’d consider another office/or if it’s only in that office? Tc 100k
It doesn’t depend on the recruiter, it depends on the manager at the end of the day. The recruiter is just the middle man to what the team wants. For example, they wanted to put me in MTV but I am young and prefer SF over surburbia yaknow? So they were able to place me in SF. And one of my friends asked for NYC over her original location (i forget), and they granted it. Its probably a lot easier if you’re asking for an equal or lower tier city. If you’re suppose to be in Boulder for example, but asking for NYC? Thats a much bigger pay bump they weren’t prepared for
That makes sense

You can ask to team match with teams in other locations- but if the specific job you applied for is in one location, especially low cost, the HC is generally locked to that location.
What if it gives options of two locations? Both HCOL and I’m in another HCOL not listed, but I know there are teams here
