Before you bite my head off, please note that I'm new to this industry. Growing up, my dad worked for a tech company which got acquired by a bigwig. While he started out as an engineer, he retired as a Project Manager. As a new data scientist, I work with a Product Manager and other engineers on my team. In a conversation with my dad, he claimed that what my PM does is largely similar to what he did as a Project Manager. He claimed that he didn't worry too much about user research as those specs were largely handed down by higher ups in the management who hired consultants to do this for them. So, I was curious to know what you think (first option should be ==)
