I had an experience quite recently where a friend of mine sent me his resume looking for work. When I saw it I took the liberty to revise it and send back as simply a favor. He got INSULTED. How dare I doubt his UI/UX experience and doubt his resume. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ Folks, Iโm telling you it was not good. Ive been revamping and revising resumes with candidates live on the phone for over 10 years. Youโd think I know a thing or two about what stands out to employers. Weโll never find out if my services could have helped him, because of his own arrogance. BUT if youโre reading this and finding it hard to find work right now. HMU. I do charge-itโs a nominal one time fee, and I do it live with you (or not if you prefer). Donโt hesitate to reach out #ads #growth #marketing #jobsearch #unemployed #resumes
Whether you have the expertise or not, what you did was rude. No one likes unsolicited advice. You should have offered to make some proposed revisions not just done it off the bat. That's assuming any of this really happened and this isn't just a weird attempt to market your services
