Interviewed in India and then moved to EU and had a few interviews here. The bar in India is indeed higher and jobs are more competitive.

Interview difficulty and hiring bar are both couple of notches higher in India than in US. Not sure about how it compares to EU.

Question bank, more often than not, is Geeks for Geeks, which is like LC with a poor UI but much larger. Nearly impossible to cover a decent chunk of it. To make things worse, some interviewers might pull up a Topcoder 500 pointer or a Google code jam 15-20 pointer or something from Codechef. Tricky discrete math, graph theory, probability, esoteric data structures are all game. There is always large supply of candidates with very strong CS background who will actually ace these interviews. So unless you are up for playing this game to their level, your chances are slim. There are exceptions of course that will ask you just to build a O(1) max stack and roll out an offer
5x harder than what in USA..2 leet code qnds.. medium or hard...
personal experience - I also feel that interviewers in India lack maturity and openness in interviewing (sorry to generalize, it may not be true to all ) The reason I am saying this is because folks in India like to play by rule book and usually tend to focus on hard leetcode algo skills or codechef/topcode style tricky questions. I've observed that in US, focus is more on the approach than getting it just right, ability to break down the problem, ability to ask enough questions, tendency to think out of the box solutions, if they have covered all the possibilities and tradeoffs, ability to articulate the ideas across the room properly etc. During debriefs, Ive seen fellow interviewers highlighting all these aspects in US about the candidate whereas in India it was sort of binary - was candidate able to code most optimal solution or not. Now, this is my personal exp and may not apply to all.
