With stock crashing down after yesterday's earnings, are we looking forward to a round of layoffs at Atlassian and Twilio?
Twilio is more likely IMO.
Twilio yes, Atlassian maybe.
i am not getting it... how and why Atlassian is still hiring?
Look up our history and financials.
Twilio had a layoff a few months ago. But it began to hire again. Considering the recent earning, hiring may be frozen again.
Atlassian No way They are not going to fire a single employees
Guessing you recently started there. Yes companies will fire employees. Wake up my guy
😂
I don’t understand why atlassian is still hiring like no tomorrow
Their financials are great. Multiplying revenue yoy and losses are constant. The stock is a bargain right now.
We’re going to be “more selective” from here on out according to founders.
Why do people seem to think stock price and layoffs are closely correlated? Either one of these companies may or may not layoff, but market performance is not a strong indicator.
Lets hope not.
Well not sure how to view my current interview process with Atlassian 😂 I sure know how to pick ‘em

Our coo explicitly said to investors to expect stock based comp to continue, and even increase slightly so I don’t think they won’t give refreshers this year
Already got refreshers bruh. Was actually really good (for me) but got cut in half already with stock slide. Generally things feel good though. I’m just a lowly SWE but from my low point we are still hiring
