Are nonprofit institutions good places to coast?
Had enough of FAANG and TC chasing. Now I want to coast. I am fine with even half the pay. I was looking at Software jobs in few universities and nonprofit institutions. Can anyone share insights on WLB in these places? Are they good places to coast? TC: 220k

If you are a citizen get a government contracting job. The pay and benefits are slightly better than non-profits and the WLB is wonderful. There are lots of remote and 4x10 options.

ftKL73 Sep 1, 2023I used to do management consulting for non profits. Many are mission driven and look for people who align with their cause. Pay is generally awful and there are quirks such as leaders who can be clueless about their department. WLB is generally good though.
