Kirkland is full of these now. The builder takes a lot, splits it into tiny parcels, builds a 1700sqft shack on each, and asks 1.6M (enormous profit margin) So buyer is supposed to pay 1.6M for: - basically no land - shack w/ less living space than a condo And that’s it. Buyer is basically buying 1/3 of a real house for almost full value. Build quality is usually not good either. It’s like the builder is running a practical joke, testing the limits of what uninformed tech workers will buy. Which idiots actually are buying these? People buy such homes too. What to say!
Sorry. What is bad here? Seems like a good house, great locality as well, newly built. She priced as neighborhood
Those look nice
Good house. Buy!!
Very good. How are these shacks? Are you a a realtor in disguise?
The alternative is buying an old house from 1968 that has not been maintained, contains knob and tube wiring, lead paint, popcorn ceiling, motor oil and diesel in little gravel pits around the yard, for $2.2 million. Oh and has had multiple sewage backups because the 90-year-old owners have been dumping bacon fat down the drain for 65 years causing a clog that corroded the original DIP drain pipe and you now have the state's environmental department threatening you for raw sewage contaminating the water table. But you get a big yard.
These would be okay at a cheaper price, it’s practically a townhome without sharing walls.
1700 sqft not a shack in USA. Postage size lots have been the norm for the last 20 years in the States.
That’s bigger than a lot of shack in Cupertino
Are these near costco?
Yeah you have to show your membership card to enter the cottages
Nope, it’s right after the Kirkland waterfront.
