There was a similar thread a while back. Itโs easy to leave the finer points of detail about a terribly dangerous universe to an outside, uncontrollable force (God) like simulations or projections. The narrative that something beyond us controls everything allows us to be comfortable with not knowing a lot of detail about the beginning, explanation of current status, or end of the universe. BTW, Musk keeps paraphrasing Nick Bostrom.
