How does Argo TC progression work? Is good performance rewarded more in the form of salary increase, bonus or equity? E.g. I think Meta rewards high performers by giving a lot of equity. For context, I am considering an Argo offer, and I prefer performance reward more in the form of cash (ie salary increase or bonus) so that it is more liquid. If anyone can share multipliers for CME, EE, SEE that would be awesome. Asking on blind because recruiter dodges the questions. TC 350k
Does that mean Argo doesn't give refreshers at all? Just bumps salary slowly over timr
They do
Argo refresh doesn’t come yearly, it comes after 2.5 years of service. And it is not related to performance
It comes yearly after 2.5 yr
This is correct, it’s yearly after 2.5 years.

Raises tend to be 3,4,5,6 % depending on rating starting from consistently meets to superb. Can be altered up slightly with manager discretion. Refreshers start at the 2.5 year mark Bonus is based on level 15% L3 - L5, 20% L6 I forgot when it switches to 25%. Multiplier is from like 100 to 110% mostly. I find the raise process to be very transparent same with refresh. Whether you get an extra bump on raise will be manager dependent and very slight.
Wow these numbers (especially the bonus multiplier) sound very low. These incentives sound like coasting is encouraged. Am I missing something?
How is it low? Lol. I think you need to gain some perspective. Argo is a pre revenue company. Majority of revenue generating tech companies don't even give you a guaranteed bonus and a decent raise without promo and 401k match without limit etc. As an example if you make 160 as a base and get an exceeding rating you're going to get over 25k in bonus, and a 6400 raise. That's pretty great for a company not making money yet.
