Which of these is the best city to live overall (factoring in quality of life, salary, cost of living, career opportunities, etc) for someone in tech

Toronto, Canada?
Why Toronto?
Why is NYC so low?
Why is Boston so low?
Shoveling snow and cold ass winters.
Live in Boston many years. Winter sucks. Most winters, you just stay stuck inside your house for 2 months.
Please none of you move to Seattle, thanks
It depends on which climate you like the most.
could you elaborate on this? 😊

Seattle sucks. Unless you’re white and love cold/rainy climates 9 months out of the year, don’t move here. Weather is TERRIBLE. Unless you’re from the PNW, you’ll never get used to this depressing climate. And ppl here are so cold (look up Seattle freeze) and miserable although i don’t blame them since there’s no sun for 9 months out of the year. Traffic is also terrible and the whole infrastructure was not built for the massive migration being made here. Majority of streets are max two lanes and everyone drives slow. You’d also think ppl who live in rain 90% of the time would be better drivers when it rains.....not the case. Aside from that, it’s more affordable than SF & NY and majority of schools are better. As far as jobs, there are a ton of companies here, but mainly it’s Microsoft, Amazon, and Boeing.
Fake news. The winters are mild, although it drizzles frequently I wouldn't even call it rain. It's cloudy a lot but nbd, and the summers are perfect. Traffic is nothing compared to LA, NYC, etc. And I'm not sure what being white has to do with anything.
White people can save on sunscreen, so I guess a slight financial advantage.
Denver/Boulder is pretty nice
