To folks at asana, I am a big fan of asana and been using it for years. However I am a bit worried about the product for a few reasons and was curious if anyone at the company had thoughts on this: 1) There is a lot of marketing about ways to repurpose asana to work a certain way for a customer but new features don't seem to be delivered all that frequently. It seems like a stop gap measure until more functionality can be delivered. 2) Again back to the marketing there's a lot of talk about how asana seems to run as a firm and its culture but it seems to be off message as it isn't relevant to just an end user that wants to know why the product will work for them. 3) Is there something behind the scenes preventing more third parties from integrating with asana? Is the technology too proprietary?
The app had gotten unreasonably slow, particularly for large organizations, so until recently we had been heavily focused on improving performance. We are finally turning that corner and will start shipping features much faster.
Thanks for the update. I used to subscribe to the Asana blog in hopes of learning about new features but it was 90% about the culture of asana and only 10% about new features so I stopped subscribing. Would subscribe again if they could take some constructive feedback that end users may not be so interested in how great asana is as a company.
It really depends on how much your company spends with asana, personally my company spends alot and we have weekly-monthly updates
Could you clarify the weekly-monthly updates? It's cloud software so if there were new features being delivered it would be for all customers. My organization uses the premium tier so we would see the same updates.
Sadly its on our end that we pay for, its features made for us
