There was voluntary leave before Summer, and layoff last month. Does anyone know another layoff coming this month as well? They looks OK from external view, but are they struggling?? #asana
They don’t look OK from an external view. High burn rate with very little cash on hand. Am I missing something?
"Am I missing something?" -Billionaire founder providing cash as needed https://investorplace.com/2022/09/ceo-dustin-moskovitz-just-doubled-down-on-asana-asan-stock/ -High growth rate (51% yoy as of Sept)
The high growth rate is impressive. You’re also lucky you have a billionaire CEO who is willing to personally inject money into the org to keep the lights on. The burn rate is just wild.
No layoffs happened recently, only a small one earlier in the year affecting the talent acquisition teams. We have a decent amount of cash because of Dustin's new investment a few months ago.

I don’t know a single Enterprise that truly wants to renew their subscription with Asana. Many say that they want to find a way out as soon as possible.
Music to our ears. ;)
Tbh idk what the heck Smartsheet is either. We prefer Airtable.
The CEO is offering free YogAsana classes to all laid off employees
they had 9% layoffs today https://d18rn0p25nwr6d.cloudfront.net/CIK-0001477720/a60d2c07-2f1f-47cc-93d1-9e7e70903288.pdf
