(Not ADP) I work at a private equity owned company now for about a year. Company was acquired by PE about three months prior to me joining. I did not receive any equity package and was too dumb to ask for it at time of job offer. I am coming up on my year review and would love any insight into how Is should go about asking for some equity, I’d even take a salary cut if that meant I could get some. I believe in the company and have been a driving force in their explosive growth this past year. #equity #PE #telecom

"People aren't fooled"
PE doesn't generally pay out equity at the companies they own, doesn't fit into the business model.
I’ve heard rumblings of k1 around tax season and people being there prior to acquisition and having oppty to receive equity then. So I’m under impression there are folks who do have equity but not sure if they are offering still, investing a lot in leadership positions I can assume execs are getting something not just high Salary.
Also some weird stuff going on with people who are semi-retired and work part time, I legit witnessed one person have a retirement party and she still comes in twice a week part time. Somethings not adding up
