Associate Director at Chewy- comp expectations
What is expected comp of Associate Director at Chewy? Anyone received any offer in last 1 year, please share. I am told base around $200k, $20k bonus and $35k annualized stock grant. That looks very low. Current TC: $250k #chewy #career

Not true. Assoc director at chewy is really just staff (C7) level PM / TPM. And comp is comparable to Amazon L6 assuming mid band penetration at Amazon

35k annualized stock is probably just one kind of rsu you would get at Chewy. You should expect double/triple of that for total
Thanks much LbCe43 for providing this information. One of the other posts also mentioned about three grants 1. “new equity grant” 2. “Additional equity” 3. “Annual equity”. All of these almost similar in number so making it $105k per year. And then bonus 10% and singon 10%. Are these offered only after negotiation or they will upfront offer all these three grants?
You will a paper pusher . Directors usually make the calls. EMs manage the employees. You are like a third wheel and end up being an assistant.
Outside of big tech, most companies are removing/removed middle Sr Manager layer. Sr Engineering manager at those companies is not manager of managers but just better comp and more responsibility. They still manage engineers directly. All managers and Sr Managers would report to a Director. I feel Associate Director at Chewy is similar to that. Someone from Chewy can confirm. #chewy
