A few months ago all the PMs openings at Spotify were remote friendly (it was explicitly stated). Now all the openings (5 as I write, 4 in London and 1 in NYC) mention only the office location, any mention of remote work has disappeared. I remember Spotify making a big fanfare about embracing remote work and allowing its employees to "work from anywhere forever" (within the limit of the law). Have they backtracked already? #spotify
For the London ones in the LinkedIn ad it says ‘based in London’. The same job on the Spotify website, although not listed on the ‘Remote’ filter, says ‘London or remote’. When I was looking a year ago it was all ‘EMEA Remote’, so not sure why it’s become more specific.
we don't have a remote filter because all roles are remote, even senior leadership works from home
Brexit?
Work from Anywhere is still all over their site though.
You pick if you want to work in office or remote. You are bound to certain geographical areas though. If you work in US, you can’t move to Europe and get paid US rates. You have to stay at each zone for like a year so if you move your pay will be adjusted accordingly. The whole policy is reasonable and generous in my opinion.
Nope. All positions are still remote.
Based!
