Has anyone interviewed with Athelas for their SWE role? There's little to no information on glassdoor and blind. If someone can share their experience that would be great! Have an interview with them in few days. Blind tax: 140K #athelas #engineering #software #swe #interviewing

Are you working at Athelas? Can I DM?
Yeah don’t join man
Update: interviewed with them Easily the worst company I have interviewed at. The interviewer was least bothered to be there. Had his camera off the whole time. Gave me a prompt and when I asked follow up questions he literally said you should find it out on your own. Gave a link to edpokore like 30 odd API to find a data from one of the APIs from the list which was not easy to find especially when you only have 30 mins for the interview. Asked questions about the data but no response from the other side. It was as if I was talking to a wall. Posting my experience so people who apply there know what's coming for them.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I have mine coming up
I also interviewed with them and I got the most toxic vibes. I couldn’t put my finger on exactly why but just…no. This was for their RCM team
For folks talking about toxic culture let me clarify. I am not going to sugar coat it, yes we work long hours and expect people on the team to do the same. But we do it because we seeing exponential growth, our customer base has increased by 10x in the last one year. Our product is still young and need to stabilize, the solutions that works for the first 10 customers are not going to scale for the next 100. We have an amazing sales teams that hits its quota each quarter which creates these scaling problems. We are rebuilding some of our product and entering into new areas like nurse protection and AI powered tools for doctors. We have tripled our engineering team in the last 6 months and have plans to hire even more aggressively, if you are excited to work hard and be part of this rocket ship please get onboard. DM me if you have questions, happy to chat more.
Why treat the people who are putting the effort to interview with Athelas poorly then?
People are learning, we all have bad days and make mistakes. We also hired a lot of people so that tells me we are also doing good job interviewing.
take the hints from Glassdoor and don’t join I left them in 3 months
Do you mind if I DM? Also, I didn't read their reviews on Glassdoor but in this market I'd take anything
